A fine and unusual mid 20th Century sterling Judaic wedding chalice. The chalice, in wine goblet form, with an architectural platform supporting the bride and groom. The cup has an applied inscription in Hebrew celebrating the marriage. The English translation is A sound of celebration and a sound of happiness. A sound of a groom and a sound of a bride. Condition is very good and it is marked 925 for sterling. Circa: 1950s. Dimensions: Height: 5 1/2", The base is 2" X 2", Weight: 6.28 troy ounces.
