Each plate and compote center have a different hand-painted scene with a very elaborate gilded border design on peach background.The compote and two of the plates are numbered on the back. The set makes a beautiful cabinet or wall display, or for use.Size of compote: 9 7/8" diameterX 2 7/8" tall,diameter of plates:9 1/4"
