Volunteers are a key part of keeping ICF going!  We appreciate everyone who shares their time to help keep this amazing project moving forward.  If you would like to be a part of the ICF family, there are many ways you can help!  We welcome all ages and skill levels.

Garden help : From weeding, tilling, planting, watering, and harvesting, to simple grounds clean up and maintenance, this is probably the biggest need we have at the farm.  Day to day tasks may change, but the need for helping hands is constant. (did I mention lots of weeding is needed out here!  )
During summer, volunteers should plan to bring a hat, sunscreen and cooler clothes to work in.  Bug repellent isn't a bad idea either.
During winter, volunteers should plan to bring warm clothes (perhaps a change of clothes) and rain boots.
We have well water to drink, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks/own coffee mug and snacks if desired.  We have a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot and water pot for hot water for use by volunteers.

A porta-potty is on site as well as a hand washing station.

Animal Husbandry : Help feeding and caring for the Chickens and other various animals at the farm.  Including but not limited to collecting eggs, cleaning pens, record keeping and such.

Farmers Market : Help harvesting and preparing for the farmers market(s).  Set up of our farm booth, handling money and records, general interaction with the public and promoting/sharing information about ICF.

Fundraising Efforts : This can be in many forms, from finding/helping apply for potential grants, to organizing events, raffles etc.  We welcome and NEED your creativity and ideas!
